a9s Service Dashboard Considerations

This section describes concerns and limitations to be considered when using the a9s Service Dashboard.

Asynchronous Data in the a9s Service Dashboard

The data from the backups and restores is being displayed asynchronously in the a9s Service Dashboard. The a9s Service Dashboard displays the specific state of the backups and restores at the time the page is rendered and does not reflect the states in realtime. Depending on the current load of the a9s Backup Manager, the queued tasks are usually updated to running under 10 seconds from triggering the backup by task handler. This will not be reflected immediately by the a9s Service Dashboard.

If the automatic reload feature is enabled, the a9s Service Dashboard will fetch new states every 60 seconds. Depending on the size of the backups, the queued tasks may go directly from queue to done during this interval.
